Sunday Brunch at Nova, Oil Nut Bay!
I don’t think I’ve ever come across a person who hates Sunday Brunch. Good food? Endless mimosas? Good music? Never-ending Bliss? Who would say no to that?!

Oil Nut Bay has created a Village Marina that consists of a market, the Luna Boutique, Deep Bay WaterSports and the Nova Restaurant where Sunday Brunches are held.

Getting There.
Oil Nut Bay is located on the scenic north-eastern tip of Virgin Gorda, isolated from the rest of the island which means that it is only accessible by boat or helicopter. Oil Nut Bay provides numerous ferry services to their marina location making it easy to attend their Sunday brunches! On Saturdays and Sundays, a ferry departs Loose Mongoose to ONB at 11:00 a.m. and departs ONB at 5:00 p.m. for its return to Loose Mongoose. If that schedule doesn’t suit you, they also have ferries leaving the Gun Creek Jetty on Virgin Gorda at various times during the day.
Loose Mongoose Departure. Gun Creek Departure.
Bringing your own boat is also an option! Just call ahead letting them know you’ll need a slip to dock your boat!

The Nova Restaurant.
The Nova Restaurant is the perfect location for a day of relaxation and brunching. The comfortable lounge chairs and day beds are made for lazing around all day. The Cliff pool is perfect for a quick cooling dip. The shaded dining area keeps you comfortable without obscuring your view of the Atlantic Ocean and neighboring islands like Necker Island. Its the best of all Worlds!

The Food.
The Nova Restaurant caters to all when it comes to Brunch. Not only do they serve bottomless mimosas and bloodys, but they also offer a variety of dishes from not one but two menus. They have a menu filled with popular/common brunch options AND an all day menu for those who are in the mood for things like a grilled lobster or a sushi boat.

While you’re enjoying your day at Nova, you are serenaded by lovely live music performed by the one and only Kamau Georges! Listen to the sweet smooth sounds of his saxophone while you sip on your 7th mimosa.

The Surroundings.
“Marina Village” isn’t just a trendy name given to this new addition to Oil Nut Bay. Outside of the Nova Restaurant, you can find a coffee shop, shopping and Watersports!

For a quick coffee fix and provisioning needs just head on over to the coffee shop located behind of the Nova restaurant. You can grab a quick sandwich, salad, pastries and coffee to go while browsing their selection of wines, spirits and essentials.

Past the coffee shop is the Luna Boutique. The Luna Boutique carries resort, beach and evening wear, swim, accessories and knick knacks. They also carry a variety of local designers and artists!

To the left of the Luna Boutique is Deep Bay Watersports which is the center for all things aquatic. Not only is it a boutique carrying Watersports apparel but private surfing and foiling lessons are offered by Tommy Gaunt!

Nova is the perfect place to spend your weekend and I hope to see you there soon! If you have any questions, let me know in the comments! While you’re here, check out my other blog about Oil Nut Bay here!
